The FDA issued an advisory and a formal warning letter (June 18, 2025) classifying the affected lots as adulterated; the action remains ongoing. These bacteria can sicken both pets and the humans handling the food.

What To Do If You Have This Product

  1. Check the best-by date on your package against the affected dates: May 06 2026 (Raw Beef Detailed), Jan 31 2026 (Raw Beef Straight), Jan 02 & Mar 11 2026 (Straight Chicken).
  2. Stop feeding affected lots immediately — do not finish the bag even if your dog seems fine.
  3. Dispose of the food double-bagged in a sealed trash container; wash hands, bowls, and all surfaces it touched.
  4. Call your veterinarian if your dog ate an affected lot — watch for diarrhea, vomiting, fever, lethargy. Humans with symptoms after handling should contact a physician.
